Named after the Cornish village of Sennen, this jumper is a modern take on traditional Gansey knitwear worn by fishermen in the 18th and 19th centuries. It features a relaxed, boxy fit with a drop shoulder for a contemporary look while honouring maritime heritage.
The top half has a textured grid knit inspired by fishing nets, and a Ladder of Life pattern runs along the shoulders, symbolising sea challenges and triumphs. The welt is finished with garter stitch and 2x2 ribs, mimicking broken waves, with side slits for comfort and ease of movement.
Made from breathable midweight cotton, Sennen is versatile for year-round wear - layered in cooler months or worn light in summer. Its natural fibres make it soft, durable, and easy-care.
